Our partnership with these programs is designed to help patients get the MRI’s they need to diagnose MS, evaluate their disease progression, monitor medication response and manage their treatment by participating in cost effective, as well as free, MRI programs. We can also help with transportation and speaking at support groups for patient awareness of these programs.
As one of the only MRI facilities in the Northwest Ohio region to offer these programs to patients with Multiple Sclerosis, we are also one of the only facilities to have 3 different MRI
(1 High Field Short Bore 1.5T MRI and 2 Open .3T MRI magnets) units so that all patients can be scanned regardless of size, comfort, claustrophobia or image quality requirement. Our radiologists are neurological sub specialists with a specialization in Multiple Sclerosis and we follow the MS MRI protocol set forth by the MSAA.
Patients need to contact our office to get the paperwork started and we will help facilitate the rest of the process. The patient will need an order for MRI of the Brain and/or Cervical Spine at the time of application.
